“Thanks to James and Yvette for being such an inspiration in my life. My husband and I attended a coaching session about two years ago and we learned a lot about each other. We recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary together and we were honored that Yvette was there to officiate”. F. Kelly

Help Couples in Need
by Donating to Divine Marriage
|
The Divine Marriages Board of Directors stands strong on the principle that this ministry exists for the sole purpose of strengthening and saving marriages and supporting families. Contributed funds fall into 2 categories: restricted and unrestricted.
Restricted funds are used primarily to provide scholarships for couples who can't afford the full registration costs of attending one of our marriage counseling seminars or workshops. Restricted funds are also defined as funds earmarked for a specific purpose or function of the ministry. |
| Unrestricted funds are used primarily to establish Divine Marriages as a marriage ministry. This includes, but is not limited to, using unrestricted funds to supplement the development of new curriculum, improve existing material, reach new audiences, and raise awareness. Unrestricted funds are also used to serve the day-to-day operation of the ministry. To ensure proper use of funds, restricted and unrestricted funds are held in separate bank accounts. |
How Are Funds & Donor Lists Treated Internally?
Divine Marriage is a not-for-profit organization. As such, donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of Internal Revenue Codes, including, but not limited to, cash gifts, gifts in-kinds, properties, and stocks. Receipts are sent upon request, at regular intervals, or as directed by the IRS for your tax filing purposes. Divine Marriage, Inc., is not a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization at this time. Our 2009 plans include filing for the 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status. Nevertheless, all non-profit organizations receiving under $10,000.00 annual are included in the tax exempt status. |
 |
| The confidential and personal relationship between donor and beneficiary is one we respect. The security and privacy of donors to Divine Marriages, Inc., are guarded through a number of organizational policies as well as computer security systems providing the utmost in protection. We never rent or sell any of our lists to other organizations. |
What Are My options?
|
♥ Singular Giving A non-recurring gift of any amount to Divine Marriages that is either restricted or unrestricted based on donor preference. Giving to Divine Marriages more than once does not constitute a recurring gift; it is simply a gift that does not occur on a regular, scheduled basis. |
♥ Monthly (Scheduled) Giving A recurring, monthly, or other regularly scheduled gift of any amount to Divine Marriages that is either restricted or unrestricted based on donor preference. Many donors choose the simple solution of establishing an auto-draft donation scheduled through their bank account or credit card account, which we are set up to do. This type of arrangement also saves the ministry money by reducing the cost of mailings. |
♥ Non-Cash Assets Non-cash assets include gifts of stock, estate planning, real estate, business interests, and restricted securities. These unique types of gifts require special arrangements and expertise and may be professionally managed, under donor's direction, by the Divine Marriages Director of Development. |
